DsrE is a small soluble protein involved in intracellular sulfur reduction [1]. This family also includes DsrF and the homologues TusD/C. n E. coli, the DsrEFH homologue TusBCD interacts with the DsrC homologue TusE in a sulfur relay system during 2-thiouridine biosynthesis [2].
