This is the GASA gibberellin regulated cysteine rich protein family. The expression of these proteins is up-regulated by the plant hormone gibberellin, most of these proteins have some role in plant development. There are 12 cysteine residues conserved within the alignment giving the potential for these proteins to posses 6 disulphide bonds.
