| PF03168 | Late embryogenesis abundant protein | domain |
Different types of LEA proteins are expressed at different stages of late embryogenesis in higher plant seed embryos and under conditions of dehydration stress. The function of these proteins is unknown. This family represents a group of LEA proteins that appear to be distinct from those in Pfam:PF02987. The family DUF1511, Pfam:PF07427, has now been merged into this family.
