Family of eukaryotic NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunits (EC:1.6.5.3) (EC:1.6.99.3) from complex I of the electron transport chain initially identified in Neurospora crassa as a 29.9 kDa protein. The conserved region is found at the N-terminus of the member proteins [1].
