This family represents Cwf15/Cwc15 (from Schizosaccharomyces pombe and Saccharomyces cerevisiae respectively) and their homologues. The function of these proteins is unknown, but they form part of the spliceosome and are thus thought to be involved in mRNA splicing [1].
