This family consists of several eukaryotic T-complex protein 11 (Tcp11) related sequences. Tcp11 is only expressed in fertile adult mammalian testes and is thought to be important in sperm function and fertility [1,2,3]. The family also contains the yeast Sok1 protein which is known to suppress cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinase mutants [4].
