This family consists of several hypothetical bacterial and one archaeal sequence of around 120 residues in length. The function of this family is unknown. The structure of this family shows it to be part of the Dimeric-alpha-beta-barrel superfamily. Many members are annotated as being RNA signal recognition particle 4.5S RNA, but this could not be verified.
