This family consists of several Phlebovirus glycoprotein G2 sequences. Members of the Bunyaviridae family acquire an envelope by budding through the lipid bilayer of the Golgi complex. The budding compartment is thought to be determined by the accumulation of the two heterodimeric membrane glycoproteins G1 and G2 in the Golgi [1].
