These proteins share a region of homology in their N termini, and are found in several phylogenetically diverse bacteria and in the archaeon Methanosarcina acetivorans. Some of these proteins also contain characterised domains such as Pfam:PF00395 (e.g. Swiss:Q8YWJ6) and Pfam:PF03422 (e.g. Swiss:Q9FBS2).
