This domain is found on the C-terminus of ABC-2 type transporter domains (Pfam:PF01061). It seems to be associated with the plant pleiotropic drug resistance (PDR) protein family of ABC transporters. Like in yeast, plant PDR ABC transporters may also play a role in the transport of antifungal agents [1, also Pfam:PF06422]. The PDR family is characterised by a configuration in which the ABC domain is nearer the N-terminus of the protein than the transmembrane domain [1].
