This domain is found to the C-terminus of Pfam:PF02670 domains in bacterial and plant 1-deoxy-D-xylulose 5-phosphate reductoisomerases which catalyse the formation of 2-C-methyl-D-erythritol 4-phosphate from 1-deoxy-D-xylulose-5-phosphate in the presence of NADPH [1].
