Nup133 is a nucleoporin that is crucial for nuclear pore complex (NPC) biogenesis. The N terminal forms a seven-bladed beta propeller structure [1]. This family now contains other sized nucleoporins, including Nup155, Nup8, Nuo132, Nup15 and Nup170.
