This entry represents a domain found in prokaryotic alpha-amylase and 4-alpha-glucanotransferase. It is adjacent to the C-terminal domain (Pfam:PF09095). This domain adopts an immunoglobulin/ albumin-binding domain-like fold, with a bundle of three alpha-helices. Their function is, as yet, unknown [1].
