| PF09384 | UTP15 C terminal | family |
U3 snoRNA is ubiquitous in eukaryotes and is required for nucleolar processing of pre-18S ribosomal RNA [1]. It is a component of the ribosomal small subunit (SSU) processome. UTP15 is needed for optimal pre-ribosomal RNA transcription by RNA polymerase I, together with a subset of U3 proteins required for transcription (t-UTPs) [2]. This entry represents the C terminal of UTP15, and is found adjacent to WD40 repeats (Pfam:PF00400).
