ParD is a plasmid anti-toxin than forms a ribbon-helix-helix DNA binding structure [1]. It stabilises plasmids by inhibiting ParE toxicity in cells that express ParD and ParE. ParD forms a dimer and also regulates its own promoter (parDE).
