This family of proteins represents Enhancer of zest homolog 2, (EZH2) a 30 residue peptide which binds to a WD-repeat domain of EED by residues 39-68. EED is a component of PRC2 complex which is involved in gene expression [1]. This interaction is required for the HMTase activity of PCR2 [1].
