This domain family is found in eukaryotes, and is approximately 80 amino acids in length. The family is found in association with Pfam:PF00505. There are two conserved sequence motifs: KKDK and LPG. This family is made up of SOX transcription factors. These are involved in upregulation of nestin, a neural promoter.
