| PF12411 | Choline sulfatase enzyme C terminal | family |
This domain family is found in bacteria, eukaryotes and viruses, and is approximately 60 amino acids in length. The family is found in association with Pfam:PF00884. There are two completely conserved residues (R and W) that may be functionally important. This family is the C terminal of choline sulfatase, the enzyme responsible for catalysing the conversion of choline-O-sulfate and, at a lower rate, phosphorylcholine, into choline.
