This domain family is found in eukaryotes, and is typically between 144 and 156 amino acids in length. The family is found in association with Pfam:PF07647, Pfam:PF07653. There is a conserved LGKK sequence motif. SLY contains a Src homology 3 domain and a sterile alpha motif, suggesting that it functions as a signaling adaptor protein in lymphocytes.
