This family of proteins is functionally uncharacterised. This family of proteins is found in bacteria. Proteins in this family are approximately 70 amino acids in length. There is a conserved YDRNRN sequence motif. The E. coli protein has been shown to bind selenium [1]. This protein shows structural similarity to the KOW motif.
