The YfhE-like protein family includes the B. subtilis YfhE protein Swiss:O31573, which is functionally uncharacterised. Its expression may be regulated by the sigma factor sigma-B, which regulates the expression of stress-response proteins [1]. This family of proteins is found in bacteria. Proteins in this family are approximately 40 amino acids in length. There is a conserved QEV sequence motif.
