This family includes the B. subtilis YjgB protein Swiss:O34960, which is functionally uncharacterised. This is not a homologue of E. coli YjgB, Swiss: P27250. Expression of B. subtilis YjgB is regulated by the alternative transcription factor sigma-B [1]. This family is found in bacteria, and is approximately 140 amino acids in length.
