This family of proteins is functionally uncharacterised. This family of proteins is found in bacteria and archaea. Proteins in this family are typically between 310 and 334 amino acids in length. Advanced homology-detection methods supported with superfamily-wide domain architecture and horizontal gene transfer analyses have established this family to be a member of the PD-(D/E)XK superfamily.
