This family consists of several SseB proteins which appear to be found exclusively in Enterobacteria. SseB is known to enhance serine-sensitivity in Escherichia coli [1] and is part of the Salmonella pathogenicity island 2 (SPI-2) translocon [2]. This presumed domain is found at the C-terminus of SseB proteins.
