PF15064 Cation channel sperm-associated protein subunit gamma family

This family represents the gamma subunit of the CATSPER, or cation channel sperm-associated protein complex. The complex appears only to be expressed in the flagellum of sperm. The complex is activated at alkaline intracellular pH, and being restricted to the flagellum is the mediating calcium channel.
