The function of this family, TMEM187, is not known, however it is predicted to be a multi-pass membrane protein. Members of this family are as yet uncharacterised. This protein family is also alternatively named ITBA1. This family of proteins are found in eukaryotes. Proteins in this family are typically between 239 and 267 amino acids in length.
