PF15290 Golgi-localised syntaxin-1-binding clamp family

Syntaphilin or Syntabulin is a family of eukaryotic proteins. Syntaphilin binds to syntaxin-1 thereby inhibiting SNARE complex formation by absorbing free syntaxin-1. So it is a syntaxin-1 clamp that controls SNARE assembly.
