This family consists of uncharacterized proteins around 200 residues in length and is mainly found in various Bacteroides species. Distant homology prediction algorithms consistently suggest a homology between this family and FKBP-type peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerases (PF00254), but this relation is as yet not confirmed. The function of this family is unknown.
