This family consists of uncharacterized proteins around 120 residues in length and is mainly found in various Anabaena and Nostoc species. Distant homology analysis suggests this family is related to NTF2-like proteins and specifically to proteins that bind small molecules. HMM partly overlaps with Tol_Tol_Ttg2 (PF05494) involved in Toluene tolerance and lumazine binding family (PF12870) and these families should form a clan.
