DCB domain is found at the N-terminal of Mon2 and BIG1-like proteins from metazoa, and in fungal homologues like Sec7 and Gea1/2 [3,4]. Mon2 and BIG1 like proteins play an important role in the cytoplasm-to-vacuole transport pathway and are required for Golgi homeostasis [1,2]. This domain is sufficient for targeting BIG1 to the Golgi.
