A small family consists of several uncharacterized proteins around 300 residues in length and is mainly found in various Chloroflexus, Comamonas, Delfitia, Rubrivivax and Roseiflexus species. Several members are annotated as cyanophycin synthetases, but the function of this family is unknown.
