KORA is a family of Gram-negative bacterial proteins that act as global repressors of genes involved in plasmid replication, conjugative transfer and stable inheritance in the IncP group of plasmids. KORA operates as a symmetric dimer, and contacts the DNA via the helix-turn-helix region at the N-terminus [1].
