This natively unstructured region lies between the first two PDZ domains on long eukaryotic tyrosine-protein phosphatase non-receptor type 13 proteins. The function is not known. However, since each of the PDZ domains binds with a different protein it is likely to be a linker region allowing flexibility between the PDZs.
