zf-C2H2_assoc3 is a partially unstructured region on Patz or POZ-, AT hook-, and zinc finger-containing proteins of higher eukaryotes. It lies between the two C2H2-type zinc-fingers towards the C-terminus of these proteins and may well be an unusual zinc-finger itself.
