DnaG-primase_C is the C-terminal of a set of eubacterial DnaG primases that are a single-stranded DNA (ssDNA)-dependent RNA polymerase responsible for the synthesis of oligonucleotide primers needed for the replication of DNA. It interacts with helicase at the replication fork [1].
