MCM3AP_GANP is the C-terminal domain of germinal centre-associated proteins, GANPs in higher eukaryotes. GANP forms part of the TREX-2 complex which in higher eukaryotes requires the MCM3AP domain of GANP to facilitate its localisation to the Nuclear pore complex and nuclear envelope. TREX-2 complex links transcription with nuclear messenger RNA export [1].
