The fungal protein SLM4 (EGO3, GSE1) is a component of the GSE complex and the EGO (TOR) complex . The GSE complex is required for trafficking GAP1 out of the endosome [1]. The EGO complex is involved in the regulation of autophagy and cell growth [2]. SLM4 is required for the integrity and function of the EGO complex [2].
