This domain is found just before the N-terminal region of nucleoside diphosphate-linked moiety (Nudix) hydrolases (Pfam:PF00293). Nudix hydrolases catalyze the hydrolysis of nucleoside diphosphates which are often toxic metabolic intermediates and signalling molecules [1].
