XIAP-associated factor 1 (XAF1) is a 301-amino acids interferon (INF)-inducible pro-apoptotic protein. The XIAP binding region within XAF1, XIAP RING binding site, is located at the C-terminal portion of XAF1. This entry represents the C-terminal region which is functionally identified as XIAP RING-binding domain of XAF1 [1].
