This family of proteins is functionally uncharacterised. This family of proteins is mainly found in Firmicutes but also in viruses. Proteins in this family are approximately 60 amino acids in length and they contain three conserved motifs: RF, TGxxY and TPLLD. Some members of this family are probably Xylan 1,4-beta-xylosidases.
