This family of proteins is functionally uncharacterised. This family of proteins is predominantly found in Rhodobacterales. Proteins in this family are typically between 160 and 175 amino acids in length. There are some conserved motifs: IDA/S, SSPxRxRACF and DG. Many members in this family are thought to be histidine kinases.
