This domain represents the N-terminal transmembrane region of the apolipoprotein N-acyltransferase enzyme. The enzyme catalyzes the phospholipid dependent N-acylation of the N-terminal cysteine of apolipoprotein, the last step in lipoprotein maturation. This entry does not represent the enzymatic domain found at the C-terminus of the protein.
