Accession ID Name Pfam Type
PF20597 Putative Ice-binding-like adhesive domain domain

This domain is found N-terminal to repeating stalk domains in bacterial surface proteins. The structure model of this domain is highly similar to the Ice_binding adhesive domain (Pfam:PF11999). However, the bacterial species in which this domain can be found, are less likely to be water-based and thus the function seems unlikely to be ice-binding. This domain is found in a Bacillus anthracis protein with the gene name BA_0871 or BASH2_04951, which was described to be collagen binding and to be involved in the bacterial pathogenicity [1].
