| PF21015 | Ybfg C-terminal | domain |
This is the presumed C-terminal domain found the uncharacterized protein YbfG from Bacillus subtilis. This domain may adopt an alpha/beta structure. YbfG has a peptidoglycan-binding domain at the N-terminal (Pfam:PF01471) and a central catalytic glycosyl hydrolase family 25 (GH25) domain (Pfam:PF08924). YbfG has a significant degree of homology to BacA [1] from E. faecalis, which together with BacL1, show cell wall lytic activity [1].
