| PF21096 | RecA C-terminal domain | domain |
This entry represents a small domain found at the C-terminus of RecA. The recA gene product is a multifunctional enzyme that plays a role in homologous recombination, DNA repair and induction of the SOS response This domain adopts a structure composed of a beta hairpin and three alpha helices. It has been shown to bind to dsDNA [1].
