Comments
E2F7 is a member of the E2F family of transcriptional inhibitors. Saenz-Ponce et al found that E2F7 is specifically mislocalized to the cytoplasm in squamous cell carcinomas cells, and the mislocalization correlates with doxorubicin resistance. Selinexor (a KPT-SINE inhibitor) and CRM1 knockdown caused nuclear accumulation of E2F7. Putative NES can be found in 1-25, no further validation of the NES have been performed so far.

User Input
Accurate identification of NESs is difficult because many sequences in the genome match the NES consensus. Therefore, some published NESs may be mistakenly identified. Please help us improve the accuracy of NESdb by providing either a positive or negative flag for the NES in this entry. Supporting comments are required to process the flag.
