hydrolase of Pseudomonas sp. ADP, which hydrolyzes
ammonia from the three-nitrogen compound biuret to yield
allophanate. Allophanate is also an intermediate in urea
degradation by the urea carboxylase/allophanate
hydrolase pathway, an alternative to urease.
