This family also contains a putative thymidilate synthase from Mycobacterium tuberculosis, though there is no significant sequence similarity to pfam00303 members. This family appears to be distantly related to pfam01678, including containing a weak internal duplication. However members of this family do not contain the conserved cysteines that are hypothesized to be active site residues (Bateman A pers obs).
