Homologous cluster 'Rossmann-related' representative domains
Cluster description:
Rossmann related homologous cluster includes different nucleotide-binding Rossmann-fold domains with Gly-rich loop (GxGxxG with different variations) (Wierenga et al., J Mol Biol., 1986; PMID: 3959077) and D/E motif (Laurino et al., PLoS Biol., 2016; PMID: 26938925), PreATP-grasp domains with different variations of Gly-rich loop (Pai et al., EMBO J., 2006; PMID: 17124497), as well as domains whose signature motifs were degraded, but they have high structure similarity with other members of this cluster
