The description below was written months before target structure release, thus it only presents shuoyong's personal thoughts simply based on sequence. Please be aware that it may contain laughable errors. It is certainly not our final assessment on this target. We will revise this section (and the sequence classification too) in a short time
Two-domain protein. The N-terminal (around 7-194) is a Periplasmic binding protein-like II domain. This protein consists of two similar intertwined domain. Core of each domain, 3 layer (a/b/a), beta-sheet of 5 strands order 21354; strand 5 is antiparallel to the rest. Please note that this domain has topology similarity to the target T0528. The C-terminal domain (around 202-281) is a ACT-like fold (ferredoxin-like fold). The rest of this protein is helices, and may interact with the N-terminal domain.
